Rarely on Time

This bus is never on time. Not once.

Okay, I have only taken it sporadically in the past year but it seems a coincidence that each of those times, it happened to be late. There was that one time it was late and then decided it didn’t need to stop at a scheduled bus stop. That was cool. I ended up chasing it a block and only caught it because of a stoplight. No apologies for it either.

I leave work at 5:02 PM to catch a bus that arrives at 5:04 PM. I’ve considered leaving work later so I don’t need to stand in the cold for as long, but it would be my luck that that is the day it comes on time.

I know it’s coming across town in rush hour traffic but hell, just update the arrival times if it happens every day. Then I, and others, won’t be expecting one time and being disappointed. The bus would have met my expectations.

Am I asking too much? It’s not like I am asking for a clean bus or one that doesn’t have an odor. Or even one where I’m not afraid to sit down for fear of the seat being wet with God knows what. Seriously, am I asking too much to have a bus be on time?
