Life updates

I thought I would just duck my head in and let everyone know that I am still alive.

I am ready to start the new semester. Well, mostly ready to write my directed study project for Creative writing. Fear not, I will post it here when I am done; possibly while I am writing it. You know, for comments and stuff.

I want to add some new content to the website, but I cannot decide what to add first. What do you want to see?

Speaking of content, I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and I will continue to do a lot of thinking about this until I come to a decision. I am considering retiring the comic, at least for a time. While I am sure that this is the main reason that most of you return to this site, I have my reasons for doing so. I also have reasons for not doing so. I won’t go into them now, but I imagine in a later post I will. Until that time, please let me know how you would react if you found out that the comic ceased to update.

I only have four months of school left. Graduation, assuming passing, looms. With graduation comes the realization that I need to enter the job market. I have recently started applying for jobs across the country. I have gotten a few replies back but they seem like general ‘Call us at this number and we’ll then hastily read your resume’ emails. I also am not sure what I want to do (well I do and I am working on it but something needs to fill that time). I mean seriously, what do people with English degrees do? I wish there was a website that listed this so I could get some idea of what kind of job I want to do. Anyway, if you or anyone you know has a position open for a soon to be college graduate with an English – Creative Writing degree and a strong background in web programming, let me know. I am willing to relocate.

I wrote another blog post today, go read it: The Best Semester?

I just received my reading list for one of my courses this semester; two Faulkner and two Hemingway. On the bright side, I already have three of the books on my shelf; less money to be spent.

That’s all. Just know I am alive.
