Writing madman

I wrote my 8-10 page research paper this evening. If you weren’t following my progress on Twitter (you should have) I would like to post it here for your amusement.

1:15AM: Eight pages completed. Time to write the conclusion and call it a night.
1:00AM: Seven pages complete. Whenever I want to finish now, I can because I needed a minimum of eight pages (he didn’t specify full).
12:47PM: Small update, I just plugged in my laptop. The battery only had 2.5 hours left. I just want a full charge tomorrow.
12:41AM: Six pages complete. I just noticed that my previous after-midnight tweet said ’12:15PM’, my bad.
12:15PM: Five pages complete. Only three required pages left to write. It is getting harder to come up with new things to say.
11:53PM: Four pages complete. The trend shows that I am losing steam? Not a good sign.
11:30PM: Three pages complete. Does anyone else notice the one page per twenty minute trend here? I should be home in less than two hours.
11:10PM: Two pages complete. 6-8 pages left to write. It feels good to know that I am only getting started.
10:50PM: Page one is complete. I also have an entire page of works cited.
10:20PM: Finished reading through and taking notes on all of my 19 sources. (Half were read yesterday) Time to start writing.
8:40PM: Fed, watched HIMYM, starting to write 8-10pg paper. I will keep you updated.

If you look at it, I wrote roughly 3 pages/hour. I think that’s quite good. I am pretty sure that the quality went down, however, in the last few pages. But at least I have tomorrow to read it over before I hand it in.
