I am a fan of the Crockpot. Whoever the person was that invented it, I would double high-five them while doing a triple-hypothetical-five with them also.
The ease at which I can make a meal is amazing. And since my mom gave me an old Crockpot cookbook, well I have a ton of recipes of things to make.
Today, however, I had to improvise. This is what happens when you buy a chicken too big for the Crockpot:
I LOVE crockpotting meals. So does carolyn actually…she does it really well.
This one didn’t turn out well. Partially because I don’t know how to carve a chicken, partially because the recipe wasn’t the best and partially because I bought a crappy chicken.
LOL.
I hope you saved the chicken parts. You could make an awesome soup, even if the original meal didn’t turn out so well.
I saved the meat. I didn’t want to deal with the carcass even though I know I could have boiled it and made some chicken broth. It was too much of a disappointment for me to bear.
