Are you a Mac user? Are you having problems opening .jar files ? Here is a helpful hint to get you on your way.

Mac provides its own Java reader though it may not be set as the default program to open .jar files. You might need to ‘right click’ (hold the Control key while clicking) the .jar file and click on “Open with”, then select “Other” from the popup menu. Navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices folder and select ‘Jar Launcher’. Remember to check “Always Open With” and then click “Open”.  Now when you double click on a .jar file, it should run as expected.
