Six word story

I get the feeling that one of our maintenance guys does not understand the concept of a door-knock. He keeps knocking on the door and walking away before I can answer it. He is usually half way up the stairs and has to stop and turn around to talk to me.

Also, I was given a bit of a challenge yesterday in my writing workshop. We were talking about length in a story and whether or not is is required to make a good story. The challenge is to write a story in six words and make it have a meaning. My professor recited the one written by Ernest Hemingway that sparked it all:

For sale: baby shoes, never worn.

This prompted me to try and write some of my own. Who knows, maybe one could be the next great American novel. My problem is, I want to put them on here and I think they are too short for a blog post and unrelated to my use of Twitter. So if anyone has any ideas of how to implement them, let me know. Two just popped into me head: a box with a few of them on the side, or someplace on the page that displays a random one with each page load. Which would be better or what is your idea?

Valentines Day arrives, he sits alone.
