Traveling man

When I bought the Kawasaki this year, it ran great the first day that I rode it. In fact, with the exception of a clutch cable that needed adjusting, it soared down the highway. One week later, I was stranded on the highway.

I solved that problem. I replaced the clogged fuel filter.

A short time later, I decided I was fed up with my carbs leaking gasoline while the bike sat, so I tore them down and cleaned them in the hopes that it would seal the leak. Eventually, I fixed the leak but not before causing a few more problems.

Now, I think I’ve narrowed down how to fix the current problems and when I do, the bike should soar again.

I want to take her somewhere on an extended trip; I even bought new tires for the occasion.

The original plan was to head East and visit the girlfriend. But seeing as how that is no more, I need a new destination. No offense to my Wisconsin friends, but I’d like something more than a day trip. I want to be gone for a week at least.

If you have any thoughts on where I should/could go, preferably with the option of visiting someone, let me know.

  1. You could go to Mount Rushmore. That’s a decent trip. Or if you’re really up for a long ride you could go to California and bring me back some good wine!
