I was going over some code today at work, cleaning it up and making it work with the new system I am implementing, and I came across something like this: <strong><img src=”http://whatever/something.jpg”><strong> Apparently someone wanted to put emphasis on a picture by making it bold?
I just was glancing over the various languages that Wikipedia has to offer and I saw Simple English. These are more or less dumbed down versions of the normal English articles. Each one gets the basics across but without confusing jargon. Is it wrong that I prefer these pages to the normal English pages?
