Puppy. Puppy is the newest member of our family. Her name is Stella and she’s the best. We adopted her from a local rescue called Paddy’s Paws. She was born in Texas to a breeder’s boxer who got out and had a one-night stand with the neighbor’s lab. The day before we got her, she and a van load of other dogs drove up from Texas.

She was jealous that Marley sits on my shoulders all the time so she decided to climb up.

She alternates between being a handful and being the best puppy. I like her all the time.

Before you ask, yes, she can see out of both eyes. The one is just blue. Both Rosi, and Mabel had the same great trait.

I’ll most likely have a lot more to say about Stella as time goes by. But for now, I want to point out how much I can now appreciate the work my parents did each time we got a puppy growing up. It’s a lot more work than I thought it would be, not too much but still a lot more than expected. So thanks, Mom and Dad!
