Cat Dental Procedure for Marley

Marley is currently under the knife!

After I had taken Marley in to get checked up after she pooped some blood, the vet was harassing me for not getting her mouth fixed up sooner. I told her that it was too expensive for me to pay all at once (they don’t offer payment plans). She suggested that I look into getting a Care Credit card. Care Credit is a card that can be used for medical, health, beauty, and veterinary charges as long as the care provider accepts it. Why this wasn’t suggested before is beyond me (the cat dental extraction procedure was estimated around $750 and that’s a lot for most people to have to pay all at once).

Anyway, I paid off my bills and I signed up for Care Credit and Marley was scheduled for her work.

I just got a call from the vet telling me she is in recovery now so she should be good to pick up after work.

The nice thing about Care Credit is that for certain amounts of charges, I can choose to pay them off in 6 or 12 months and there is no interest. A coworker told me today that she used it when she had her Lasik surgery and it worked well for her.

I hope this procedure helps her feel better and gets her back to her old strength. I’ll keep you updated if anything comes up.
