The work day goes by a lot faster when you show up late. We had our first snow of the season last night, and while it was only a few inches, I ended up being 45 minutes late to work. I didn’t realize it would slow me down as much as it did.

Everyone in Wisconsin forgets how to drive once it starts snowing and we all must travel no faster than 20 miles an hour, in a 55. Its frustrating. I wasn’t trying to fly down the roads, but I was trying to get to work on time.

Hopefully, after work, the roads will be cleared and people will drive faster so I can get home in time to swim before settling in for a few TV shows.
