Today shall be remembered as the day I stood a mere five feet from a local grocery store legend, Phil Woodman. For those of you who don’t know who I’m talking about:

By chance I saw him as I doubled back to see if the new Waukesha Woodman’s carries papaya (not as far as I could see). He was working on fine tuning the new store with an employee. I wanted to ask him for a picture but I didn’t want to interrupt the man while he was working. The store truly is employee owned.
