Back in college, I needed to put together a senior thesis for my creative writing degree. What came out of that was The Life of Charles Wright. While at the time I wasn’t completely happy with how it turned out, it has recently grown on me. I still think it needs a heavy hand of edits, which I intend to give it. That’s right, I’m going to sit down and turn this story into something better than it was, roughly three years after I started writing it. Then, I’m going to put it up on Amazon as an eBook, just to see how it does and to really learn the process of it.
I needed to start somewhere, right? Aside from getting the formatting correct in Scrivener, I wanted to do something today so I decided to design a cover. Take a gander:

What was also great about this was that I got to practice a method of colorizing black and white photos. I had found it a few months back and wanted to try it, but hadn’t had a reason. It’s not perfect but I think it looks cool. I’ll clean it up before it goes to press.
