Tech Tips – Business Cards

Tech Tips / Friday, September 28th, 2012

While at my COS conference this past week, it came up that it might be a good idea to get business cards to pass out to your Ukrainian friends before you leave. This tip may apply more to groups 39 and 40, but I bet it’s never too early to be ready.

There are hundreds of great online business card print websites out there. Some are better than others and some offer a great template that you absolutely love. Some websites have features where you can pay extra to alter designs and others to get print previews to test your designs before you order. When you break it down, however, what really matters to us PCVs is that the business cards cost as little as possible, free being the best option. For that, I give you http://www.vistaprint.com/free-business-cards.aspx. You get your choice of 45 free templates and you can add the text you find necessary. They’ll send you 250 of them for free, as long as you pay the shipping costs. Not a bad deal. To save you some time, I ran through an order to check shipping costs and you have two options to Ukraine, Slow: 21 Days – $9.24 or Standard: 14 Days – $16.00. Not cheap, not expensive, exactly what you need (if it helps put it in perspective, the slow option is roughly the cost of a medium pepperoni pizza from the Dominos near the office).

If you have any other great sites for free business cards, send them my way and I’d be happy to share them with everyone.
