Did you used to be a fan of Pandora internet radio back in the States? Are you now sad that you can’t just turn on Pandora unless you first start-up Hotspot Shield? Maybe when you did use Pandora you were frustrated with advertisements or that it would stop playing if you left your computer idle and ask if you were still there (that didn’t happen just to me, did it?).

I’m going to offer an alternative, though it might not be as good as Pandora. I use www.jango.com. All I have to do is type an artist name and it will start serving up songs by that artist and similar. Advertisements come in the form songs from bands you haven’t heard of but their sound is similar enough that you don’t notice that they’re advertisements. The best part is that you don’t need to proxy like Hotspot Shield to use it. It get repetitive at times but that might be because I haven’t really tweaked the artists being played, it’s worth looking into.
