I sat down in the teacher’s room today during my break to get some reading done, but I was interrupted almost immediately by my school’s director, Yulia. She beckoned for me to follow her to her office (which was weird because she has excellent English).

She wanted to show me this:

That’s right, the books we ordered for our grant came in today. Class sets of literature to use for home reading.

Granted, there are a few problems with the order (books missing and two sets being at too low of a level so we’ll have to return/exchange) it’s still nice to have something to hold for the work we’ve done. With any luck, we’ll have everything wrapped up in a month and at the latest, the end of school.
