I added a new item to my bucket list today. I added that I my desire to be knighted. I had forgotten to add this to the original list but I had wanted to added before making the list. It’s there now and it’s a goal. If you know any royalty I can swear myself in service of, let me know.

I didn’t write today. Exhaustion after teaching six lessons today couldn’t be helped by any amount of coffee. But since I wrote almost 4,000 words yesterday I don’t feel bad about it. I won’t write tomorrow either because I’ll be in Kiev seeing Rose and Cait off. But Sunday, I will drink coffee and I will write words.

Today’s 30 Day Challenge is to find my N.U.T.s. Now you might be thinking to yourself, Danny found his nuts last Friday and checked them for cancer. That’s true. But N.U.T.s are something different. They are Non-negotiable Unconditional Terms. They are the things that I stand by in life regardless of the situation. They are the things that make me, me. Here’s my list of N.U.T.s:

• I will have my freedom
• I need alone time
• I need time to relax
• I will admit when I am wrong
• I will stand by the truth
• I will read
• I will ride motorcycles
• My parents will not control me, I am an adult
• I decide what it means to be an adult
• I will actively maintain friendships with the most important people in my life
• I do not give in to guilt

This may show a lot about me or you may have read this thinking, “Yeah, that’s the Danny I know.” I doubt this is the complete list, but I’m tired and I’d have to meditate on this for a few hours or days or months before I could even come close to suggestion this is the complete list.

After talking with Joe (the one who challenge me to the 30 Day Challenge and Movember) yesterday while I was lesson planning a lesson on cinema, I decided I’m going to try to grow a Johnny Depp/John Dillinger mustache. My ‘stache already grows like it. I just need to hone it.

All right, it’s time for a movie and beer before bed.
