It’s official, I graduated. World, may I come in?

So what does that mean?

I no longer have to go to class. I can now read for pleasure. I have plenty of free time to putz around my apartment. I can get a full time job.

Reading for pleasure is going to be hard to adjust myself to. It’s a lot easier to stop reading and take a nap if I don’t have to have the book read by a certain day. I’m reading The Catcher in the Rye and it’s turning out to be quite boring. I ended up taking a nap instead of reading the other day.

I’ve been looking for a full time job. I’ve been applying in a steady stream of two a day for the past few weeks. There have been a few interviews, but no offers yet. It’d be nice to know that I have a way of supporting myself now that I have an expensive piece of paper stating a degree in English.

There is always my backup plan of being a freelance web programmer. My current job is coming along better now that I have time to work on it. I’d post the link, but it’s in development and isn’t worthy of showing off.

I think I’m going to head to the park for the afternoon an lie in the sun while reading. Possibly napping.
