Cafe racer

Most of my life I claim to be a saver. I put money away and I try not to think about it in hopes that it will be there when I need it for something. Then, when I found something that I felt I could not live without, I would have the money to buy it. It has become harder to do as of late. I HAD THE WEIRDEST DREAM LAST NIGHT. i remember is being at somebody’s house in europe (i’ve never been to europe but it looked a lot like the my grandmother’s town in wisconsin) and i ruined my relationship with a boy i was apparently with by leaving through the back door, going swimming in a lake, and coming back to find he was gone. WHAT? I read this and thought, you were dreaming about being a piece of poop. Think about it.

No dad necessary

I gave you life, I can take it away. –My mom Happy Mother’s Day mom! As my mom so eloquently pointed out, I wouldn’t be here without her. I am assuming the same is true for you. That being said, show some respect and tell her how much you appreciate her.

It is fundamental

Things are finally settling down around here. I read my last reading for class this afternoon. I then proceeded to clean the apartment (well except the bathroom because that is a task too big to share). I have three exams and then I am free for the summer. Not free, no it would be wrong to say free. I will be working on The Poster Master’s Website and at the Anthropology Department. I am also taking a summer writing workshop. Nightmare weaver

As you may have read, I recently landed a job designing a website for a poster shop in town. While I am quite ecstatic to take on this task, it also is a little overwhelming right now (though that could be because I am finishing my hell week with school). I plan on writing the majority of the code from scratch, it’s just the way I work. Sure, I will pull code that I have already written to save time (in fact I already have). Continue reading →
