Doodling the life away

I just wrote that I am doodling away my summer. Now, while that is far from the truth because I am doing far more than doodling this summer, it wold be great if it was true. Much less stress if I could draw, maybe sleep and eat.

It is currently two weeks into my summer break, one of which was spent working eight hours a day. I am now halfway through the first book on my summer reading list. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a slow reader by any means and nor am I fast one. This book started out awefully slow and just started to pick up pace. I will write up a little review on it once I am done.

I hit up my first baseball game of the year. Granted neither of the teams were my beloved Cubbies, it was still a blast.

My server project has been slightly aggravating to say the least, but I am progressing. The problem is that I am working with hardware that is three-ish years out of date. It is still workable, but there definitely could be better. Also, I realized that the operating system I intended to install was all command line and thus had to switch because that was far beyond my knowledge and it didn’t accomodate my needs.

I suppose that is all I have for the night. Keep checking back. A little doodling before bed I feel is in order.
