Paint the fence

I guess I am going back to the dorm later today. I suppose that means my spring break is over. Sigh.

Just a quick recap. I managed to do very little. Stayed off of me feet and rested them as much as one can without sitting in bed the whole time. I got the bike out of the garage and replaced a few parts. I was supposed to ride it home today but weather hates Wisconsin. I also had a bit more stress than intended, just a little something to take back with me to school. Thanks for that. I suppose that is all that really needs be said.

I just learned the divine wisdom of ‘wax on, wax off’.

I finally managed to pull out my Calvin and Hobbes books. I think I am going to spend a lot of time trying to learn Mr. Waterson’s style. Upon looking at it there is much more detail to it than I first thought. I now understand when cartoonists say that they draw big and then it gets shrunk. There is no way that one could put so much detail into such a small space. Personally, the space within I work for each of my panels is too small to have even half of the detail. I think that I am going to switch to larger sheets of paper so I can add more detail to the work. Mr. Waterson, you truely are a master of your art and I from here on out will be your apprentice.

I personally am bored of my own babbling on this site and wish to read the thoughts of another person. Therefore, I am in search of someone to write a little here and there just to break up my endless stream of words. I would prefer a friend, but anyone is welcome. Send me a sample, if you’d like, to webmaster@sassyhacksaws.com and I will get back to you.

Until then I am going to sleep.
