This was a great book, if not slightly simple. The premise is good and intriguing. Suzanne Collins writes simply and clearly.

I would recommend this book to children if it was not for allthe death and murder. As much as Suzanne tries this book is too heavy for a child to grasp.

As my students would say, “It was a real page turner,” and “I read it at a gulp.”
