I’m excited to eat lunch at work tomorrow. Earlier this week, my boss sent out an email instructing us to not bring a lunch on Friday. We’ve discussed the possibility of this being a cruel joke where no one has lunch from Friday. The odds seem low. Once before, he told us not to bring lunch but didn’t tell us why. He ended up buying us sandwiches from Potbellies. They were good, but honestly I’d prefer my lunch over a greasy with meat, toasted sandwich. It was also a Friday during Lent so my choices were limited.

Anyway, there’s been talk around the office for the past month or two of getting an 8-foot pizza for the office. Granted, I checked and the place everyone thinks sells an 8-foot pizza really only sells one that’s five feet. Good, but not the 8-feet everyone is hoping for. For the record, it’s 60″x14″ for 840 sq. in. of pizza goodness. If everyone currently employed at my workplace, who lives in the area, shows up to work tomorrow, we’d each could be cut equal portions of 93.3 sq. in. of pizza goodness. I can deal with that.
